Pros

Big picture view - exciting, insightful, challenging and have made great strides in the last few years to become a thought leader, to position brand, to have a more joined up (global approach) On the floor - many great teams, good dynamic, good fun Defined career path and structured traning if in sales. If not in sales - you can make a role your own by proving your strengths, getting involved.

Cons

Your experience as an employee at Hays can drastically differ from one office/team to the next, very much dependent on who you work for. Big picture - much work to be done to become more joined up (may be a UK thing) On the floor - it is a sales environment, with an old sales & long hours culture, KPIs, KPIs, KPIs No defined career path or structured training if not in sales - it's totally up to you and expect to hit the 'glass ceiling' at some point unless you work in London.

Pros

Great place for new recruiters to gain experience. A lot to learn. Younger crowd, fun teams.

Cons

Competitive, people that weren't succeeding would be put on PIPs and eventually let go. Can be some micro-managing. Not all managers created equal - some great, some not so great.
