Pros
HelloFresh is a company in a rapidly growth phase and therefore it is sometimes hard not to forget about the well-being of the employees. In my opinion a lot of very promising initiatives have been started during the last couple of months and improvements have been made in a lot of areas. For example, they introduced a company wide review cycle at the end of 2018 which comes together with a objectives cycle for 2019. I really appreciate the possibility to receive feedback from my manager and to develop my skills business and personality wise. There is also an annual Happiness Survey so you can give feedback for your team, manager, the office and more. Other benefits are: a well organized German classes budget, team events, All Hands meetings every 6 weeks with the CEO + free lunch, new spacious and bright office areas, huge box discount, friendly environment and very nice colleagues in all different departments. Also nice to have: an employee newsletter with the latest updates and a very motivated Office Management team who is always there to support you.
Cons
Sometimes HelloFresh can be a very secretive environment which results in many rumours but no or late official communication. Another thing, the new and brighter office spaces are great but now the teams are more separated and it is harder to connect which each other.
