Business Outlook

Pros

Salary is decent. Office is cool and equipment is new. We have a works council now, so potential for all the shady things that go on to be surfaced and hopefully fixed. Career opportunities are endless if you fall into 1 of these categories: 1. Related to / dating / friends with someone from the leadership team. 2. Can quietly tolerate or contribute to the mess of the codebase / quality of design without trying to suggest improvements. 3. Thrive under micromanagement and hierarchal environments.

Cons

If you care about quality engineering and design and working in an egoless environment this is not the place for you. Sudden firings of high performers just before their probation period is up for unknown reasons (perhaps couldn't afford them or seen as a threat by their incompetent manager). Forcing people to resign or driving people out by gaslighting them and putting them on PIPs for made up reasons. If you identify as female / non binary you need to be ok with being tone policed.
