Pros

Great entry level positions, good opportunities for interns, travel benefits and wonderful free online training tools and resources.

Cons

If you work for an owned and managed hotel, do not expect a pay increase unless you are a union member. There is a disparity among staff in that most of the administrators are hourly, all are female and none have received a pay increase of more than .50 more than once in the last three years.

Pros

Great staff and lowermanagement. Last general manager was unfriendly and not very helpful.

Cons

I was supposed to get long tenure status for lifetime friends of family with my veteran status. Worked at Hilton 9+ years. Supposed to get 1 year for my veteran status (according to the handbook at that time) which would make 10 years. HR supposedly turned in application in August 2024. I even followed up and was told they were working it. It's been almost 2 years and haven't heard anything yet. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. Guess I won't be staying at Hilton Hotels.
