Pros

You meet people from all walks of life. The fellow associates you work, you begin to form a family type bond with one another.

Cons

Management doesn’t necessary care about overworking you. Too much freight on the trucks. Constant notion of pushing merchandise out despite not having the appropriate room for it. Constant floor moves have you wondering if the district even know what they want when it comes to the floor plans. You can get burnt out relatively quickly from this job. Some of the supplies hence boxer cutters and safety gloves are of lower end quality. Not enough staff to get things done around the store.

Pros

it is a job if you desperately need one

Cons

management does not keep promises (e.g. I was promised $2 higher pay upon accepting the position and later was told it wasn't feasible anymore once starting. I was also promised a specific day off then last minute had it revoked because they decided to make it a mandatory day). management does not listen to or care about its employees, very unprofessional. store managers don't want to do anything to help, they just sit in the office. management let other employees slack off and do nothing and expected others to compensate for their lack of effort general manager was horribly rude and misogynistic. he threw a box at someone while visiting.
