Pros

Great perks such as ball games, travel and other entertainment events. Focused on having fun when at the home office. Always looking to evolve their products even when going against the norm. The home office was really big into making sure you were welcomed and your guests felt it was a good use of time. They were big into product training but not a strong strength in sales training. Humana was well liked in the industry and had a good amount of respect. I believe that if you choose to workf or Humana, you can either get mixed up in a really good office or a really bad one.

Cons

Limited leadership training, would be considered the type of enviroment where you are out if you don't drink the kool-aid. They were big on who knew who and make sure you take care of the ones that are my friends. It was a strange enviroment when sometimes you had to baby certain people even though they were not putting food on your table. This was the political aspect of it. They were not very strong in their competitor intelligence data gathering and relied on the sales reps to do most of the work for the informaton. It was ackward to continually ask for competitor info.
