      Pros

      Usually decent working conditions/environment. The pay is mostly competitive.

      Cons

      Having to constantly drink the latest organizational kool-aid/propaganda and industry fads. Some departments are cold and siloed. A few are able to create working team "families". There is a LOT of politics. This is a huge organization that is built on bureaucracy.

      Interesting work, decent benefits, ability to work from home

      Cons

      Cutthroat culture that does not care about employees or their well being, focus on profit at the expense of people, continuous layoffs and outsourcing initiatives
