Pros
I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at Humana, and it has been an excellent place to grow my career in healthcare. The leadership team is forward-thinking and truly committed to fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration. The company provides great opportunities for professional development and offers a supportive environment for employees to thrive. The benefit packages are generous. I feel as though I come to work every day engaging in extremely impactful work that makes a difference in our communities.
Cons
The pace can sometimes feel fast, which may be overwhelming for some. Humana does have more remote work opportunities than CenterWell. It would be nice to see CenterWell adopt more of Humana's best practices. They tend to function differently since they offer more patient-facing roles. Which is understandable.
