Pros
Competitive salaries. Generally a good desire and interest in trying to do better as a company. Actually getting all of IT onboard for critical issues, which is uncommon in most companies. Good upper management spokepeople who are willing to challenge important issues verbally. General openness within teams to enable employees to feel empowered.
Cons
Burdened with politics, hiring tons of contractors, general incompetence reflects through management and down the chain. Company favorites are favored even if they are grossly unqualified and burdensome to the point of "should not be working at Hyatt". People who are not company favorites are openly discussed as being the next to be cut/fired/etc, and given undue burdens which border on questionable legality. Exceptionally strong on hiring contractors almost exclusively and minorities for reasons of avoiding discrimination. Extreme lack of professionalism at a director level, also bordering on incompetence.
