Pros

Good work -life balance, flexible schedule, remote capability The projects/contracts that ICF wins are seemingly great but they are so mismanaged that even the best projects are very frustrating to work on

Cons

Poor management style and very little advancement opportunity because promotions are based solely on tenure and not merit There are no career managers at ICF and its very difficult to switch projects, even though its a consulting firm Projects are extremely disorganized and divisions are too siloed - people often duplicate efforts because they're unaware of what others are working on People are not passionate about their careers and are quick to blame others when they make mistakes

Pros

People, Mission, Culture, Technology, Remote. You work on projects and technologies that actually impact and improves the day to day lives of people around you, the community and the Country

Cons

Pay, No much room for upward mobility. If you are a high performer, you'll struggle as the structure rewards years spent in the company vs level of expertise or experience.
