Pros
There are tons of information silos to the point that if you have knowledge across many silos, it's excellent job security.
Cons
They don't embrace technology. Management lets business units dictate how to manage their team rather than pushing back and managing their own team. They do layoffs every year, so every time the quarterly financials come out unfavorable, everyone worries about getting laid off. Business has been stagnant. Company hasn't been growing in several years.
