Pros

Good location & food in the area Learned about the type of environment that NO ONE should ever work in

Cons

This was my fist job out of college, and I worked here for less than a month. I quit without even putting in my two weeks because the stress and anxiety was unbearable. Never in my life have I been treated with such disrespect or have been made to feel so worthless and unintelligent. I worked the hardest I have ever worked in my life with absolutely no recognition or reward at all. Although the company is one big walking issue, here are the issues I think are the most important to point out: 1. The management is horrible. They walk around the office like they own the place, and there are never any signs of them doing real work. I actually had my manager look outside while we were all working and say "hmmm it's nice out, I think I'm going to go out and get some color" Not kidding. While their teams work, they laugh at them, bully them, and give them lists of work to do that are completely unachievable. They pin their employees on each other and cause discomfort within teams and play favorites as well. You will get dirty looks for leaving anywhere near on time, as if staying late would make anything better anyways. 2. The events that IQPC run are all a lie, and impossible to market. They say that the events are large scale and have all of these important people at them, and it just wasn't the truth. I was given little to no budget to work with, and because of this, was told to harass LinkedIn groups to try to get them to work with us for free. I was given these events with little to no explanation of how they were run and they were constantly changing, which made the events that were already always falling apart, totally impossible to work on. 3. The office was disgusting and not accommodating. The office is dark and dingy, the computers are from the 1600's, and the "break room" is always dirty, small, dark, and has a non working coffee machine. Also, there are no office supplies in the whole place, so you have to bring your own. Overall, there are endless things I could say about this company, but I do not want to waste any more of my time. DO NOT WORK HERE. Don't even apply. P.S. Any good reviews that are on here that don't make IQPC sound like a sweatshop, were written by employees that were forced to write them.

Pros

Title: Great company to work for with an agile and talented team Pros: Working as a Portfolio Manager at IQPC was a great experience. The company is incredibly agile and has a strong ability to adapt to market changes, which is vital in the highly competitive events and conferences industry. This adaptability allows IQPC to stay ahead of trends and continue delivering relevant and high-quality events. The people here are some of the smartest and most capable I’ve had the pleasure of working with — it’s clear that IQPC attracts top talent and fosters a collaborative, supportive environment. One of the standout aspects of the company is how much they invest in their rising talent. There are continuous opportunities for development, and the performance-based pay structure is a great motivator. It not only rewards individual contributions but also drives the company’s success as a whole. This culture of incentivizing high performance was one of the key factors in my own personal and professional growth while there. Overall: IQPC is a solid company with a lot of potential for growth. The leadership is forward-thinking, the people are sharp, and the culture rewards results. While the sales team dynamic might not be perfect, it’s a small downside in an otherwise great work environment. Would recommend to anyone who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented setting!

Cons

Cons: Like many fast-paced companies, there is a bit of ego on the sales team. While this is somewhat expected in a high-energy, results-driven environment, it can occasionally cause friction between departments. However, this is something that can be managed with effective communication and collaboration. For junior staff it can be a challenging environment to meet deadlines.

Pros

• “Entrepreneurial” culture: There’s freedom to build things from scratch — because structure, resources, and documentation are often missing. • Fast-paced environment: You’ll never run out of work — projects move quickly, priorities shift constantly, and there’s always something “urgent.” • Exposure to multiple roles: You’ll gain experience across marketing, design, and operations because you’ll likely be doing the work of several people. • Opportunities for visibility: You’ll interact with senior leaders often — usually to present metrics, justify results, or explain shortfalls. • Room to grow: If you can handle the pace and ambiguity, you’ll come out of it with resilience, versatility, and an extremely high tolerance for stress.

Cons

• Micromanaged yet directionless — leadership demands outcomes but shifts strategy frequently. • High-output, low-recognition — performance is expected but rarely appreciated. • Reactive over proactive — scrambling to meet deadlines over long-term planning. • Emotionally underdeveloped — limited empathy, communication, or genuine support.
