Pros

The job itself is not hard, the hours are standard (Mon-Fri 9am-5pm). Role is hybrid (2 days in office). Located right at the subway, so easy access with public transportation. Amazing perks including free lunch at the office! Great overall benefits, RRSP matching and company events at the office every month.

Cons

Feels like upper management is getting more and more nitty gritty with micromanaging the team. They track how many calls we make per hour, how long we are on the calls for (it's a KPI) and send us screenshots on our productivity 3 x a day. Our performance and quarterly commissions are based on how we did compared to the "control group". The base salary is decent/competitive enough, but it does feel like there is a cap on the bonus due to the control group. AI is being integrated into the business and there have been some layoffs in other non-sales departments, which makes you wonder about job security long term.

Pros

I loved the talented people I worked with; I appreciated being appreciated; I loved helping employers hire; and I really thought this would be the company I retired from.

Cons

The company culture changed significantly after it became publicly traded; I didn't particularly care for how they handled layoffs; they didn't always act on the feedback they received; and they were slow to jump on the AI train.
