Pros

Easy to learn product, very relevant. Solid engineering team made great product. Really only asked to sell one thing

Cons

Product was so simple that not a huge priority was placed on professional development. The company's attitude towards sales was very lean. The preference was to grow inside sales reps and move them to enterprise roles at lower salaries. This was probably the approach I would have used as well because the product was so simple

Pros

I loved the talented people I worked with; I appreciated being appreciated; I loved helping employers hire; and I really thought this would be the company I retired from.

Cons

The company culture changed significantly after it became publicly traded; I didn't particularly care for how they handled layoffs; they didn't always act on the feedback they received; and they were slow to jump on the AI train.
