Pros

1) As a new associate engineer, I was given many resources and guidance to hone my skills and secure a position on a client project, which I did, and I stayed on the project for two years. 2) They have a dynamic and vibrant culture (they call themselves "Infocions" (shouldn't it be "Infosians"?)). There were a lot of events, programs and initiatives going on involving health and wellness, sustainability, impact, etc.

Cons

1) The company is enormous and your mileage can vary greatly depending on which group you're in, who your manager is, etc. I heard stories about some extremely toxic and domineering personalities. Also, due to their enormity, communication can absolutely suck. For starters, I literally didn't know who my actual manager was most of the time. Also, I can't tell you how many times I got the exact same RTO email, each time from a different person who I didn't know, asking me about my plans and when I planned to return. When I was applying for a mortgage, they needed to call in to the company to confirm my employment there, but it took them several days to do so because they kept being rerouted and no one would give them the answer. 2) After placement with a company, I completely lost contact with my initial manager. At this point, they were no longer interested in training me or following up, which I found very odd given their initial involvement. When my 2-yr project was abruptly canceled due to the client's strategic changes, we were left in the lurch and received little guidance on securing another project. 3) Pay for me was low--entry-level--which I thought was appropriate given that I came in from an education background and had a complete career switch. The company got me my first job, and I was grateful for it.

Mandatory office time even when entire team is halfway across the country. Lack of upwards mobility. Constant pressure to inject generative AI into tasks that it can’t or shouldn’t do. Small increases in pay occur only once every 2-3 years.
