Pros

Some people are nice and you might make friends

Cons

Insight Global promotes unqualified people barely out of college to manage other unqualified people straight out of college. The base salary for recruiters and account managers is extremely low so it forces you to put in insane hours and work to barely make a living off commission. They push “friendly competition encouraging recruiters to succeed at the expense of other IG recruiters. Once you put in your notice to leave the company, they immediately terminate you and cut your commission even from previous weeks that you worked (paid in arrears) and make obtaining severance pay extremely difficult. They take advantage of young college kids by showing unrealistic commission expectations and not telling you it could be YEARS until you make that money. And until they you have to live off a base salary that’s below the poverty line.

Pros

The individual contributors and the endless amounts of budget for campaigns tools and resources. A great place for marketing creatives looking to do just that, create.

Cons

Leadership served themselves, not their team. There's 0 structure with no marketing KPI measurement or revenue attribution to show the ROI. Everyone always seemed so busy but nothing was getting done to show the impact marketing had on the businesses bottom line. Not many wanted to do the work to build the department to any potential, half of marketing doesn't even work under marketing which promotes vast misalignment. Just resources begging to be used and a bleeding advertising budget. It has a ton of potential, but I watched the few who could have changed it all leave over the frustrations of leaders only concerned with their own self preservation.
