Pros

Nice Location, Clean and Beautiful campus, Most fellow employees are friendly and good natured. The products and services offered to clients are legitimately good.

Cons

People are promoted for the wrong reasons. There is a serious amount of nepotism and cronyism within the company and it transcends from the upper levels to the lower levels. These people who have connections are entitled to live by another set of rules than the rest of the people and they seem to get all the key positions. If you take a look at the key players in each department you will find that they have some "more than professional" connection to one of the "BIG Four". This cannot be of mere coincidence. This company keeps these people around to collect a paycheck while the rest have to work harder for the same or less pay. This company also lets people go really really quick and fails to take the time to invest in someone's true potential and value. This company lacks vision to maximize peoples true potential. Also this company does a successful job of promoting a political agenda to its employees. This company does not value diversity in ideas but rather only seeks people to "toe the company line" if you are innovative or creative or have some value that might threaten upper managements vision then you are in jeopardy of losing your job. In my experience on the bottom rung of this company I was treated like a child with my every move monitored and calculated. My performance was severely harmed because I was not allowed to function in the way in which I thrive. I was looked over my shoulder and counseled way to many times for things that I shouldn't have been.

Pros

*Many sales tools and training provided throughout tenure. *Local management does a great job of taking care of their people and being servant leaders. No one is too busy to talk to you and give advice or guidance. *Unmatched referral program with good sized budget to build relationships and earn prospective business *Attitudes stay professional no matter what and issues are resolved as soon as possible. *Managers are understanding of the ups and downs of sales and will work with their reps to help get them back on track *No pointing fingers, just getting the job done, no matter what the case. *Internal teams have great communication and follow up/through. *Knowledge is openly shared throughout the organization.

Cons

*Salary is a bit on the low end. High stress in trying to meet metrics - even if a sale happens because the length of the sales cycle is so varied that you can't predict when you'll get your next win. (The job is a grind.) *60% of all new business wins come between September and December, making it the most stressful time of the year. *Tenured reps are treated differently and get more sales support such as someone who will do follow up calls and set appointments as well as doing the paperwork for a new prospect to get approved for the PEO model and pricing. *Residuals take 2-3 years to build up to anything significant. *Management will ask you to lower your enrollment fee on a deal to win the business which directly affects your commission. *Insperity takes a percentage of the enrollment fee so if you lower the fee to earn the business, Insperity still gets their cut of the ORIGINAL enrollment fee, making your commission even lower.

Pros

Good benefits. Can't think of any other.

Cons

Poor pay, the lowest paying company in the PEO industry. District Managers are awful, the ones I had. Regional Manager is less than supportive and more interested in micromangement. In my office, there is lack of support from District Manager and Regional Manager. I have witnessed first hand in a few areas District managers going on ride alongs, helping BPAs target businesses. It's an HR company that preaches work culture, but does not practice what it preaches. Turnover is higher than they like to admit, due to the nature of the job and appalling pay structure. Wear and tear of personal vehicle- you're not reimbursed mileage, or given vehicle allowance. You get an Amex card with less than $400 monthly, that is meant to cover gas (even with the current has prices), oil change, lunches, networking events. The amount itself is a joke, usually you run out of funds after the first week or 2 of each month and you're formed to use your own funds. Regional manager blamed entire team for people that got laid off, afterwards threatened people's jobs. When investors wanted more money, there were massive layoffs. Some staff were promised roles within the company, but of course they didn't keep their end of the bargain. I was given the most useless RM and DM. When I was hired, my district manager told a few lies and tricked me into accepting the position.
