Pros
Many. I left a union job to work there. They were safer than the union job, had better benefits and paid a lot better for easier tasks. Also more and better advancement opportunities. Lots of chances to work OT. I wish they hadn't sold us to another company.
Cons
In my case a very long drive made the 12 hours shifts very hard. The insurance companies were't real great, especially the one that handled medical leave and stuff like that. Sometimes too much OT. Now the plant is sold to another company that isn't as concerned with safety.
