Pros

Nice convenient facility in San Diego north county. I like the gym. The cafeteria food is pretty good. Mac or PC laptops given for use making it easy to take to meetings.

Cons

I'd have to agree with another poster -- a lot of obvious favoritism and politics! Don't complain to your manager though or you will be looked down upon. Just smile...act happy even if you are not! If you get on the wrong side of management there is no turning back. I too have heard engineers 'bragging' about working nights and weekends. I don't really see that as a completely dedicated worker -- often times that engineer is not organized and can't get work done in a 40 hour work week. Often an engineer who works this much has no family, no spouse, no interests and thus works the nights and weekends just to stay busy. Intuit wants you to be innovative with Innovation Days but the guidelines can be strict and narrow- not exactly what one hopes for when you hear "innovation". Intuit's number of product offerings hasn't changed much in years. The company is not as great as people think it is. There are many other great companies in San Diego to work for.

Pros

Great engineering culture, supportive team, strong mentorship, and meaningful intern projects with real product impact.

Cons

Large company processes can sometimes make onboarding and finding the right information slower at first.

Pros

I really enjoyed working with Intuit because it was a fast paced environment that pushed me to grow professionally. I appreciated the strong focus on customer experience, the support from leadership, and the opportunity I had to advance into a Tier 2 role within the same season. It strengthened my communication, problem solving, and multitasking skills while allowing me to help customers during stressful situation

Cons

One challenge for me was feeling somewhat disconnected from upper management and operations leadership at times. Most of my direct support and communication came from my team leads, who were very hands on and helpful. I tend to work best in environments where there is strong visibility and engagement from leadership across all levels.
