Pros
If you are looking for a work environment where people want to be there longterm, it's definitely worth considering. Many of the "career" employees love the company enough to stay in spite of the cons. If you know the right people, you can get opportunities, projects, and promotions quickly.
Cons
There is a pervasive attitude that things will never change, no matter how bad something is. The folks in corporate have an attitude that if the idea didn't originate with them, it's bad; conversely, there's also a ton of idea-stealing throughout all ranks of sites and corporate. Tons of politics and favoritism at play.
