Pros
It is a well paid company if you get to a certain point. If you do a goof job you can be secure that they will do all possible to keep you in any case of economic downturn.
Cons
Sometimes you can work real hard and your effort will not be compensated, taken into account or even appreciated. Sometimes people who suck up to higher ranking people in management are the ones who are offered the best paid positions.
