Terrible and unstable company to work for, stay away! - Engineer John Crane Employee Review

Great place to work in.

Nothing to complain about of.

Some nice people. Lots of people not doing their job so things get bogged down. Hilarious town hall meetings where they squirm and answer to hostile workers.

This is a silly company. To begin I want to say this is perhaps the worst, most vile company I have ever come across. The incompetence and astro turfing truly stands out. I want to warn young engineers that this company is not a place to get experience as touching drawings/product knowledge is not experience worth much. I also encourage potential hires to research their legal history and legal strategy. Great people. I watched people with 40+ years at JC get walked out the door abruptly. On the business side this place is so far behind they think they are ahead. It’s a combination of bitter old heads who mailed it in 10 years going through the motions and young engineers that have never worked/ been successful outside of JC that creates this absolute nightmare of a situation. The good ones leave. You can feel the negativity in this place. The best description of working here I heard was being in an abusive marriage and that’s just what I can put out publicly. I will not even go into the blatant disrespect of person, customer and any semblance of morality. The bad reviews do not do this place justice. I had a realization a year in that I would not invest in this place or buy their products. Oh and don’t call that ethics line unless you want to get walked out like me. This place also still owes me money and is aware of it so they are thieves too
