Pros

The benefits provided are better than most companies in the industry (controls.) Some very good people - technically competent and willing to help - are working there. An industry leader in technology.

Cons

Regional management has NO concern except the bottom line. They intentionally understaff field personnel (to save labor costs) and drive the people they do have to the burnout point. Salaried field staff is EXPECTED to work 60+ hours weekly. Anyone NOT willing to do so is subject to unequal treatment, fabricated bad reviews, and management harrassment. Customer satisfaction is secondary (at best) to the Bottom Line of regional and higher levels of management. Employee issues are even lower on the priority list. "Empire Builders" abound, and brown-nosing is the most effective means of advancement and better treatment. Regional and Branch management talk a good game when it comes to promoting "teamwork," but are unaware of how to even begin to "Walk the Walk."

Pros

Decent base pay and fast paced work makes the days go by quickly. Lately the company has been actually investing in their new product lines ever since Joakim became our CEO.

Cons

The compensation is lacking. No bonuses whatsoever for senior level engineers even when they're recognized as a key contributor on the team. We are given our 401k match on March 1st to cover the previous year's matches so you lose out on a lot of the year's market gains. The healthcare coverage is mediocre at best for a fortune 500 company. The raises are still given like it's 2018; 3% is considered a "good" merit increase. This is due to the "forced distribution" merit increase system where only "so many" people can receives "above expectations" raises.
