      Pros

      Reliable and traditional company, Midwestern work environment, good pay and benefits. Good for people out of school or with little work experience.

      Cons

      Traditional culture has its issues also. The informal people networks are formed over the years, and it is hard to break into. Mid-career outsiders may last about 5 years, but do not usually stay for the the rest of their careers.

      Pros

      Decent pay, good PTO and benefits

      Cons

      Everything else. ZERO training. They hand you a laptop (which is garbage) and say good luck. There is no "team." Everyone is on their own. The senior techs all reached their peak 20 years ago and don't even know what BACnet is. The bureaucracy is unbearable. Ordering a simple part is nearly impossible. There are so many apps you have to check in on everyday and they care more about those metrics than they care about the service their customers are receiving. If you want to get your butt kicked everyday with zero support at a company that specializes in taking advantage of their customers, this is the job for you.
