Very siloed and hierarchical. Very difficult to show your value beyond your own PML/team. Seemed so great at first. But, the two extended holiday weeks and generous PTO doesn't sound so great when the firm does mass layoffs. Recent layoff of 5% of the workforce. It appears there was no actual effort put into deciding what people/roles to eliminate as the Directors/Associate Directors of the impacted teams were not consulted. These result in unintelligent decisions by top leadership.
