Pros
The Austin office is a fun hard working culture. We try to keep a good mix of fun with monthly team building events, ongoing philanthropy and fun in the office. Given it is recruiting and sales in a competitive landscape, we do work extremely hard and take our craft seriously, always trying to get better. The leadership in Kforce and within the Austin office, from the time I started out as an Account Manager, Market Manager, Director and up to where I am today has provided me ample career advancement. My hard work, good comp plan(s) and support from peers as well as all levels of leadership have helped me achieve a great earning potential during my 10 years with Kforce. One of the best parts about working for Kforce over the past 10 years in addition to career growth and earnings is that I have made good friends as well as have learned a tremendous amount about business, leadership and myself over the years. I've worked for three other reputable technology consulting/staffing firms and Kforce is by far my favorite for all of the reasons stated above.
Cons
As with any large company there will be challenges to work through in various areas. I can say that at my level, I know with certainty Kforce has been working hard over the recent years to help eliminate or provide greater support to the associate population (Recruiting, Sales, Market Managers) to help manage through the various challenges one may face in a larger company. As an associate at times the initial ramp can be challenging as others have stated on Glassdoor. For those with a strong work ethic & are solutions oriented, who do not need to see instant gratification and trust in the plan, it is very rewarding. Data shows that if you can work hard through the initial ramp, (time frame varies per person but 12-24 months) most associates are well into or on track to make a six figure living and have started to work on their career track plan with management. In Austin, there is a great support system in place and we continue to strive to get better based on feedback from current and former associates as well as Senior Leadership.
