Pros
Kmart has a tremendously loyal workforce despite the failing conditions of the stores, lack of raises and bonuses, outrageous expense for benefits, and having to deal with terrible upper managements fear and intimidation management style.
Cons
Upper Management is condescending and dogmatic. Micromanage every detail and don't care for your feedback. Stores are falling apart and technology is as old as their buildings. So many in the organization have stayed so long the upper management feels like they can treat them as poorly as they want and they will never leave. They speak of servant leadership but model just the opposite. HR is worthless to the associates due to upper management's heavy hand. This company is a sinking ship due to its leadership.
