Pros
Kohls is a great place to work part time if you need some extra money while taking college courses. They are very flexible with scheduling. The only requirement is that you must have weekend availability.
Cons
Raises and official performance reviews are only issued once a year, and are quite low. Scheduling can sometimes be random. You may sometimes get a lot of working hours, and other times you may get only a day or two. Training is not the best for new associates, as many things must be picked up on the job. Depending on which store you work at, management can be very cold, uncaring, or just mean and unpleasant. Kohls policies can sometimes seem to contradict themselves making it difficult to know how to deal with customer issues. This job will require you to work face to face with customers. This will mean unpleasant confrontations at times, and is the cause for much frustration.
