Pros

i worked with nice people. You are suppose to get a lunch break for a half hour and two 15 minute break if you work 8 hours. They also dont have payroll for interns to work sunday. Therefore you always get sundays off. They take you to millwaukee. If retail is something you are interested you can do a lot with this internship and make the most out of it.

Cons

Welll first off. I had to be at work at 5 in the morning someday. That means I have to get up at like 3:45. Other days you are expected to stay until 12 at night. Many times my boss pulled all nighters and worked like 30 hours in a row. THAT IS INSANE! People never actually take breaks. People are EXTREMELY high stress. Extremely poor work life balance. Also to be honest as a manager you pretty much are like another associate except instead of staying in only one department you learn everything.

Cons

Little to no training been working here for almost a year now there’s still something I don’t know every day. What was most difficult for me was being at registers as I was trained in two days by shadowing someone. There are so many situations and problems that will come up every day and you will learn something new! They never taught me about Kohl’s cash, how to read receipts, reprint or edit receipts. They schedule so little so when you do learn something there’s no chance of rehearsal because you come in three weeks later working at a different department.
