      Pros

      I have found Kroger to have a helpful and friendly work environment. I also feel it to have wages and benefits comparable to its competitors.

      Cons

      I feel the store managers are out of touch with the workers and their issues. The workers have limited opportunities for career advancement within Kroger and the managers are very unhelpful with those.

      10% discount on all kroger branded items $17.25 per hour is one of the better wages in the area when compared to competitor stores

      October-January the workload and store environment is overwhelming due to holidays Slowest time of year in the store is during the summer when its hot and days drag ob forever Lack of communication between dept as well as between store management MOD adds insurmountable tasks onto your already lengthy expected daily task assignments
