Good benefits and vacation package, job is stressful - Claims Specialist Liberty Mutual Insurance Employee Review

Pros

If you begin as a Claims Specialist 1, you automatically acrue 1.5/mo from January through October plus four floating holidays and seven regular holidays. A lot of emphasis on work/life balance.

Cons

If you are female, it can sometimes feel like the "boys club". Upper management is very removed and when they visit your office will not interact with you at all. Processes constantly change without notice and oftentimes the changes appear to be frivilous. The company has become very obsessed with "meeting numbers" rather than setting realistic goals for their employees.

Pros

Loved my direct team members and managers, they were amazing, benefits are great, learned a lot!

Cons

Unfortunately it’s the senior management teams that is out of touch that is causing the mass turnover and issues, I’m now a senior executive at another carrier and I’m seeing many very talented experienced Liberty complex adjusters being forced and pushed out due to obvious targeting tactics that Liberty does; they have been sued for this issue on numerous occasions, so this behavior needs to stop.
