Pros

Before the GM change there was an amazing team of people who tried to push each other to be the best business and team there was in the area.

Cons

The cons were we had a young manager after the old one left. He did his best to try to bring others together but had faults. The new GM was set on eliminating him from his posting by sabotaging his employees by demanding them to get new clients or they could not take a lunch break. Eliminating the ability for one of the trainers who specialized in barbell work from using the squat racks and demanding their resignation or they would just be fired on the spot. Then isolating another employee who choose alternate lifestyle choices to pushing them to the point of resignation. Collectively this has tanked the young personal training manager's numbers in revenue for his position creating the perfect scenario for her to fire him. This is very bad manipulative management and a sadistic culture for employment. Please consider working for another gym location until new management arrives. Also I put myself at risk for retaliation from the GM by leaving this review. I am not even sure if what has happened is legal.

Pros

Great healthy way of life promoted to employees as part of goals and balance of work with life. Flexible time off with mixture of paid time off.

Cons

Does not recognize federal holidays - not a bank - so use personal celebration days to take time off when requested.

Pros

Members are great and free membership is a perk. Coworkers are supportive.

Cons

You will be micromanaged to death, whether you have three weeks of experience or 20 years. Policies are vague. Communication with leadership is poor. You can be a strong, experienced performer and have very few classes, or brand new and get 8 a week. There appears to be no logic or strategy to anything that happens.
