Pros

Decent camera and flash setup. Moderate storage for abundance of props for photos.

Cons

-No adequate professional training for photography. Anyone can apply and be "trained" but really could be a high school student who took photos on their phone. About 3-4 days of "photography training" but only alooted what the company gives for training hours and then you are thrown to the wolves and do actual sessions. So customers anticipating professional photos really have to take their chances on who they get. -Long wait times for IT or technical support issues -No guaranteed hours even for part-tim. Can barely live on their wage given to a part time employee. You are given more hours during the holidays but you will be killing yourself working with rarely any breaks. There were days I went without any food or potty breaks because of the back to back scheduling for 15min sessions. Not every kid or family can work within that time. -The photography is graded by their standards. Even if the customer only needs certain ones you have to get the requirements of the company which sometimes angers the customer. -Money is the main focus. Selling over-priced packages in studio yet the online prices are extremely low barely gives the sales representative a chance to sell said packages and get "commission". -Scheduling changes throughout the day based on appointment log. So if you are "on call" you can easily be sent home and barely get any hours. OR be extremely understaffed since you only have a set number of hours allotted throughout the week to the employees. -You have a 15 min window to photograph a session, and somehow this can allow an outfit change. Then spend 45 min in the sales process. Yet if you have someone booked directly 15 min after them, but you don't have enough apt. on the books to bring in a co worker, you somehow have to juggle those two (or three of four or however many are scheduled back to back). -Expect not to have a life. Sat-Sun are the busiest so expect to work all day. But also be on call for weekdays which you will most likely work. Schedules are posted a week in advance and even your requests off for personal events arent always honored.

Pros

Coworkers were always friendly and great to work with. Insurance was great.

Cons

Literally everything else. Company makes major changes every few months, firing managers across the country without replacements. Did not fire a sales rep who was committing felony fraud but fired small employees with false information. Company is 90 years old but refuses to make basic improvements. Nowhere to move up and bonus is rigged.
