Pros

Work from home, set own hours

Cons

They sound great on the surface but it is a contract position. It pays per minute of TALK TIME. If you are logged in for an hour and IF you earn .25 per minute, you might have 30-45 minutes talk time on a good day. They do not pay for computer time. Simple math: 45 minutes x 25 cents = $11.25. As stated, this is a 1099 contract position so no taxes are taken out. You have to do this on your own. After taking out taxes you will be earning about $8.50. These figures can change for better or worse depending on the company you work with, but you will never get a raise or promotion. If you need a job reference from them, forget it. You are not an employee and they will not even acknowledge your existence to another employer.

Pros

It’s a job. Cool avenue for a little bit of side money.

Cons

Getting shifts is hard. They tend to over-saturate the contracts so you’ll start off getting access to shifts but then it’ll stop because they have too many training classes back to back. They’ll also kick you off of a contract for anything even when the system issues are on their end or the clients end. The pay schedule also sucks it’s semi-monthly but behind so you don’t get paid in a timely fashion. You want a faster way to access some side money you’re better off applying to Amazon or Home Depot or something an employer who quick hires and puts you on a rapid pay schedule.
