Pros

- Natural networking events in-place. Part of a cohort and easier to connect with other LM employees across all sites. - Better tuition reimbursement policy compared to non-LDP employees - Finding roles post OLDP is typically pretty easy for those looking to stay in ops.

Cons

- Promotion/Salary raises being compared to via other LDPs instead of general population. You are being compared to the "best of the best," and a top performer will only be marginally rewarded with an extra 1.5% bonus compared to the bottom-most performer. - Performance reviews being completed by OLDP managers who are not always plugged into what you're doing on a daily basis and cannot vouch for you on a true level. - OLDP Corporate business projects that don't truly amount to much - Corporate politics

Pros

High level of integrity throughout the company, open communications, and sincere interest in doing the right thing.

Cons

Unfortunately, I need to come up with twenty words of cons. When in reality after 41+ years in IT, I have no cons for Lockheed Martin. They are not perfect, but highly acceptable.
