Lockheed Martin is a place you can work for your whole career with fulfilling jobs and good coworkers contributing to the cause of national defense.
Cons
As with all government jobs there can be a level of bureaucracy involved. However it really depends on what team you are on. The HR can be pretty inflexible, so it is hard to get more than a modest pay raise every year unless you are in upper management. A lot of people will leave Lockheed Martin for a bit and then come back for the salary raise.
