Pros

People on the teams are generally good to work with and helpful. Working from home is nice, except the fact they want people in the office 2 days a week for no obvious reason. Work life balance is pretty decent, rarely is any overtime required.

Cons

First off let me say that any replies you see from VP of Talent Management you should ignore. You will notice that they will only focus on any slight mention of anything good in these reviews and pretty much blatantly ignore any of the negative things. THIS IS A COMMON THREAD AT THIS COMPANY!! They will sugar coat EVERYTHING and any negatives they can't come up with a good retort to, they will just tell you that you are wrong and obviously the issue is you. They do not take criticism or input well. Hybrid work, it should be set up so that the people that want to continue to work from home can do so and those that wish to go in to the office can. There is no reason for me to waste an hour of my time driving to the office to sit there, probably without my team, and do the same things there that I can do at home. Outdated tech stack. Do you like to program? You do? Tough!! You will have to use archaic and limiting web design or the newer, yet somehow worse, app studio! Little to no coding for you! They often state that they are moving us to newer tech stacks to modernize us...no...they aren't, DO NOT BELIEVE THEM! Ridiculous cult like mentality. Pat would be better as one of those self help guru speakers than he is at running this company. Leadership is so out of touch it's not even funny. They will ask for suggestions on how they can improve things just so they can ignore them. The pay....my god is the pay here so low. This alone should stop you from working here. You will make 10's of thousands less here than you can at a real software company. Focus here is on acquiring new companies, basically to have their customer base to sell more stuff to. There will be no integrating of the acquired companies software in to anything else that we actually maintain and aren't letting die on the vine. You will, at least at the moment, here the term AI thrown around A LOT here. AI FIRST! Problem is our tech stack can't handle AI and what they think is AI is really just PDF readers for the most part.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I can tell that you are frustrated. As it pertains to remote work, we have decided as a business that we find great benefit in a hybrid work model. We believe that employees deserve flexibility and that employees benefit from in person interactions and collaboration. If you feel like your in-office time isn't adding value, I encourage you to speak with your manager and your team to schedule collaborative sessions and meetings during your office time. As for our technology, we are a 50 year old software company. We are growing and booming and do have some tech debt - which is expected for a company of our long standing history. We are actively working towards modernizing our stack and that comes in many forms and at many speeds. You allege that feedback falls on deaf ears, but quite to the contrary, we have completed our annual survey and have action plans at the company, regional, departmental, and (in most areas) management level. Please reach out to your manager or local HR team if you want more information.

Pros

There are some genuinely talented people across the company, and I had the chance to work on interesting projects in real estate

Cons

The way restructuring was handled felt cold and transactional. Employees were told their roles were ending, but were still expected to keep working through a long transition period, document everything they know, and complete extensive knowledge transfer requirements. Severance was tied to broad conditions and final approvals, which made the process feel less like support and more like leverage. What made it worse was the tone. Leadership messaging talked a lot about respect, dignity, and the future, but the actual experience felt very different. It created a real sense of betrayal, especially for employees who had spent years contributing, adapting, and going above and beyond.
