Pros
Marriott is very supportive of moving up within the company. There is an infinite amount of training and information that is available to all employees who wish to take it upon themselves to learn more about the company, the standards of operation, advancing their career, dealing with personal matters in their lives, etc... The corporate culture is very rich throughout the company and everyone works to keep it in place. Also, the company does a lot of charitable deeds within the community and for it's associates.
Cons
The pay structure is not good. If you unknowingly go in too low, you'll quickly be passed up, wage-wise, by new hires with less experience, because once you're in it's a max of an annual increase of 3%.
