Pros

Compensation and benefits were fair. Flexible working arrangements, regarding hours and working from home. Talented co-workers.

Cons

Upper-middle management makes short-sighted decisions without any concern of the details of how to implement these decisions or the long-term impact. A more senior co-worker once told me that if they could fire someone to help the budget today, they would without any concern about how to make budget in a year.

Pros

-Trustworthy immediate colleagues -Good work/life balance and flexibility

Cons

-Little career pathing within company. Organization is extremely siloed, and cheap as they simply aren't interested in paying for small things to advance one's career like local industry conferences and events such as team holiday dinners that would have minimal impact on the company's bottom line. -Pay not aligned with skills or talent marketplace -One would think a benefits/career consultant would have decent pay and benefits. This is not the case
