Pros

Diverse and positive environment "in the trenches". Mercer starts you off in a very positive space. The people are the best part of the company. Very satisfied with the teams I have worked with.

Cons

Lack of communication and vision between leadership and client teams. Poor on-boarding and training. Failure to communicate between leadership, management and lower level employees

Ability to bounce ideas off of many intelligent principles and partners.

Cons

Workload is usually pretty heavy, but there are seasons of the year that have lighter work.

Pros

Remote flexibility, which is nice.

Cons

You will not get a raise and if you do, it'll be 1%. Managers will not help you with escalating issues, you're on your own. It'll be blamed on you. You'll work so much overtime you won't have a social life.
