Pros
It's a great place to work if your goal is to become an actuary. There is a great support system already set up. They pay for exams and study materials. They even grant you study days. Mercer even promotes recreational activites amongst their actuarial analyst. Like any large corporation there are clicks; however once you find the one you belong, they are like family. The free sodas are pretty good too.
Cons
Absolutely no room for growth for it's administrative staff. It's easier to land a plane on the hudson than it is to find career advancement opportunities for an administrative assistant.
