      Pros

      Mercer name and reputation in the industry; nice to have it on the resume.

      Cons

      Poor, very poor communication from top down. Seems like the leaders are those who bring in business or are about to...until the next crop of anointed ones are named. No operational team means that the anointed ones are appointed to roles where they often lack the people skills needed to lead or even effectively manage. Elitism is rampant.

      -Trustworthy immediate colleagues -Good work/life balance and flexibility

      Cons

      -Little career pathing within company. Organization is extremely siloed, and cheap as they simply aren't interested in paying for small things to advance one's career like local industry conferences and events such as team holiday dinners that would have minimal impact on the company's bottom line. -Pay not aligned with skills or talent marketplace -One would think a benefits/career consultant would have decent pay and benefits. This is not the case
