Pros

High quality staff, good teamwork at a local level, opportunity to work with some of the UKs largest companies and be involved in developing cutting edge advice.

Cons

Skewed reward structure focussed on those that shout the loudest, with no discernable link to talent, revenue generation or client feedback. Micromanagement of consulting staff is stifling their ability to deliver to clients. Lack of investment means technology, research functions and back office systems are increasingly inadequate. Staff morale is poor.

Pros

-Trustworthy immediate colleagues -Good work/life balance and flexibility

Cons

-Little career pathing within company. Organization is extremely siloed, and cheap as they simply aren't interested in paying for small things to advance one's career like local industry conferences and events such as team holiday dinners that would have minimal impact on the company's bottom line. -Pay not aligned with skills or talent marketplace -One would think a benefits/career consultant would have decent pay and benefits. This is not the case
