Pros

Flexible management, friendly people. Tbh, I read poor reviews on here and I was expecting the environment to be dismal. However, it's been great - a pleasant surprise. The older employees tell me that just a few years ago working for MetLife was pretty awful, but recent changes have really turned that around.

Cons

If you need to know somebody, you have to ask around until you get the answer, or call the help line. Getting forced to know people helps create friendships, but it's slow which can be annoying. Company is having a hard time financially, due to the Fed's low interest rate rules.
