Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We appreciate the positives you mentioned, and we also respect your concerns and take them seriously. Leadership development is a big focus for the coming fiscal year. So far we've invested heavily in new manager training, and we are excited to bring that level of support to all layers of leadership at MongoDB. We strive to uphold a culture of transparency and encourage all employees to reach out to their leaders with questions. It is our goal to ensure that everyone has the tools and resources they need to succeed at MongoDB. If you would be open to sharing more, please reach out to your designated People Partner or email our Senior Employer Brand Manager, Jess Katz, at jess.katz@mongodb.com.

Pros

Supportive people, a strong culture, and meaningful flexibility are the biggest positives. I've had the chance to work with thoughtful colleagues who care about doing good work and helping each other succeed. There are solid opportunities to learn, build relationships across teams, and contribute in a way that feels impactful.

Cons

Workloads can be heavy during busy periods, and priorities can sometimes shift quickly (which is expected in growing companies)

Pros

Remote work and decent pay

Cons

Really depends on the team, however middle management needs to be addressed. Toxic culture that truly depends on who your manager is. Silent layoffs are made to seem "Performance-based", then job is re-posted at a reduced range. Proceed with caution and understand that HR is not your friend.
