Pros

Great pay once you rise above entry level, snacks, day-to-day teams are a close-knit trauma-bonded family, great original product (not the acquired one)

Cons

Especially sales leadership truly enables and protects toxic bro frat hustle culture mentality. Over-drinking at company AND CLIENT events, unprofessional employee behavior in-front of and with clients and when incidents are reported to HR, the reporters are pushed out (sometimes immediately). Most female employees fear retaliation for speaking up. But leadership sweeps it under the rug and protects problematic people that drink too much and cross a line (multiple times) if you close big deals. Sales team was not a friendly environment to females. Ultimately reached a point where I was so demotivated not seeing any action taken against very problematic employees (yes multiple) that I no longer cared about my role or the company’s success despite loving my day-to-day team and the original core product.

Pros

Real career development. I've grown significantly over my tenure here, taking on increasing responsibility across a global scope. That kind of trajectory requires a culture that actually backs its people. Values-driven leadership. Integrity and excellence aren't just wall art here. Leadership consistently models the behavior it expects, which builds real trust across the org. The work is meaningful and complex. This is a company where you're solving hard problems with smart people. If you want to be challenged, you will be. The culture has staying power. Long tenure across the team is common, and it's not by accident. People stay because there's always a next challenge and a next level. Resilience through change. The company has navigated significant transitions while keeping its culture largely intact. That's not easy and speaks to the strength of the foundation.

Cons

Growth and change bring ambiguity. If you need a perfectly structured environment to thrive, that's worth knowing going in. If you lean into it, the upside is real.

Pros

The people are that “Movable Ink special," Genuinely kind, smart, driven people who really care about doing good work. Unlimited PTO is real, and managers actually respect it (within reason, obviously). Very family-friendly culture. I also feel strongly that the new CEO is the right person for the job — there’s finally a more focused vision and a real commitment to transparency across the org. Previous CEO was too pie in the sky, so this is a great change. You get to work with some very cool brands, and Think Summit is honestly one of the best customer events in the industry. The product vision and roadmap are ambitious and exciting.

Cons

The product roadmap is ambitious, but now it’s really about execution. There are some talented people in that organization, but from the top down that organization hasn't always proved they can execute on this level of ambition. New CEO is putting a ton of focus on fixing that so we'll see. There’s also been a good amount of turnover in Client Experience and Engineering recently, so the big question is how those organizations stabilize and respond moving forward.
