Pros
Once in easy to shy away from work and get into a comfortable position if thats what you're looking for.
Cons
Mylan in Europe is not moving forward - there is no strategic succession planning so people sit in positions for so many years and there is no career progression. In addition, there is no management training so there is no opportunity to feedback and any suggestions or ideas are taken as a negative or responded to 'thats the Mylan way.' A number of organisational changes which have not been communicated or implemented in the right way and in addition the legalities (i.e contracts, manager changes etc) have not been dealt with. Again 'the Mylan way' Global teams work differently no consistency in any processes or teams. No knowledge sharing and again difficult to progress from the role you were recruited for. Also are paying way below the standard salaries for many jobs. No job banding so people sitting in management positions are continuing to get a pay rise over the number of years they are sitting in their jobs.
