Pros

-Good pay (I worked at a Last Call center, so no commission, but base pay was higher than average) -Good benefits -Management was generous in giving time off when needed -30% discount

Cons

I loved being able to sell and pick out clothes for my clients, but the management made it clear that they didn't care about sales (I was at a Last Call Center). It was all about new credit accounts and getting people's emails and putting out clothes and constant straightening. The expectations for people were also different. Some people were made into taskers, others were allowed to just sell, and some people were constantly harassed to do other people's work. And if you took the initiative to do something, they typically just gave you more work and treated you like a suck-up. They also gave you the workload of a about 3 jobs, and then complained if you weren't working hard enough. But only to certain people. There was lots of prejudice. I never really believed in reverse discrimination until I worked here. Often it felt like a club for certain people, not others, and it seemed to be based on your race. This seemed to also contribute to what you were paid and if you were considered for a promotion. I say "considered" because I never saw a promotion in 2 years, and people who had been there over 5 years said they had never seen one either. They also don't train you that well, which is why Neimans associates are always so incompetent, beyond being rude. I think if the management was competent, polished, and actually had the class of Neimans, it would have been much different.

Pros

* If you have an amazing team and management the day goes by fast. * Commission. * Easy to rely on foot traffic to meet goals. * If you ask for growth, they set thing ups that align with what you want, you just need to ask.

Cons

* If its slow, its SLOW. * There can be drama, it just depends on the department you're in.

Pros

good pay, good retired tech/fashion prop sales, hour long lunches

Cons

terrible work environment with whole bunch of eating disorder talk and projection at models (even from some management), management makes everyone stay until 4:30 even when all the minimum work requirement (and oftentimes more) is done, they will write you up for something extremely small then dismiss a big thing from another employee, terrible communication between managers therefore terrible communication to employees, employees get publicly ridiculed when they're just asking questions even amidst the terrible communication issues that are already there,
