Pros
Reasonably good communication from upper management and engineering management. The majority of engineers and managers in dev, qa and tech mktg (especially the old timers) are great to work with and for. Competent, dedicated and solution oriented.
Cons
During the hiring frenzy of 2005, engineering brought in some real deadwood senior managers, more than should be expected in any company this size. Those managers proceeded to hire or refer their incompetent buddies.
