Pros

Absolutely none. I have to enter 5 words minimum here to submit this review...

Cons

I was part of the Dell EMC ECD acquisition. It has been a horrible experience. 1. Open Text lies. When the acquisition was announced, Open Text stated that everyone would receive an offer letter. Well, many people did not receive an offer letter. None of the senior management were offered a position. Even worse, many people who accepted the offer were let go within 1 week of the acquisition close date, leaving them with a worse severance package and less lead time to find a job. 2. Nickel and Dimers. They created un-achievable goals to avoid paying variable compensation. Many of my colleagues are effectively getting a 20% pay cut. 3. Benefits are substandard and they make it impossible to calculate or understand. 4. Poor vision and leadership. Absolutely no integration plan even after 6 months. 5. Open Text Employees are still treating us like the competition. They only want to hire and sell Open Text.

Pros

Pros was that you had a job (and not for long if they find a way to outsource your position in the company).

Cons

Cons are so many to list, but from the leadership in this company being so out of touch with his/her employees, the restructuring done in their company to save some bucks on their end was crazy brutal, firing all of their talented workers to implement automated programs that did not function properly. Overall, horrible experience with OpenText, lies upon lies when it came to growth opportunities and keeping teams in the dark, no communication what so ever. Their business practices were just plain terrible.
